PK Tiles commits to ensuring your privacy is protected at all times.  This policy sets out how PK Tiles uses personal information given and how we protect that information should you be asked for such data.  It will also cover why we may ask for this data and the options you have to update or take control of your data at any stage.

This information is required in order to provide our customers with the best service in particular for the following reasons:

  • Updating/altering quotations
  • Fulfilling Orders and deliveries
  • Invoicing and Enquiries

To prevent unathorised access or disclosure we have put in to place suitable physical and electronic procedures.

You may choose to restrict the collection of data in relation to the following

  • Processing payments via Credit/Debit Cards

To find out what data we hold on you, you can email us on info@pktiles.com or contact us on 053 9121060.  If you wish to have personal data deleted or updated we will honor your request on the basis that it is no longer necessary for services which may effect your order  i.e delivery etc, or not required for any legal or contractual record keeping requirements.

HOW YOUR DATA IS SECURED AND RETAINED

We follow generally accepted standards to store and protect the personal data we collect, both during transmission and once received and stored.  Personal data is only retained for as long as necessary to provide you with the service required and thereafter for a variety of legitimate legal  or business purposes.  These might include retention periods:

  • Mandated by law, contract or similar
  • Preserving, reserving, defending or enforcing our legal rights
  • To maintain adequate and accurate business and financial records (6 yr rule)

COMPLIANCE WITH LEGAL, REGULATORY AND LAW ENFORCEMENT REQUESTS

We Cooperate with government and law enforcement officials to enforce and comply with the law.  We will disclose any information about you as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process.

To the extent that we are legally permitted, we will take reasonable steps to notify you in the event that we are required to provide your personal information to third parties as part of legal process.
